I create drawings using loose graphite and graphite pencils, alongside loose painting pigments. These visual explorations serve as a springboard for poetry and new ideas in writing. My process involves scrying, gazing at a monotone surface to uncover what lies within, bringing these hidden visions to life. This method reveals deeper subconscious processes, where forms often intertwine, sharing parts fluidly, and growing organically into one another. Through scrying, the mind's eye awakens, sharpening intuitive awareness, allowing the mind to become a conduit for "something else."

Inspired by the divine

There is an overwhelming spiritual pull to create art in my life. I am inspired by the presence of the Holy Spirit, and through devotion, I create visual images or writings that are artistic. The particular process of scrying allows the mind to hear beyond itself, granting enlightenment to see what is hidden in the paper. Any monotone surface suffices to complete a scried look at something, making every surface a potential canvas for spiritual insight.
