Living on the Edge of Disclosure
Spending time in mainstream and alternative news — X in particular — is genuinely like watching a movie of another world. Individual posts blur together into a cacophony of competing positions, breaking topics, and businesses angling for followers. At first, I couldn't get enough. It felt like witnessing my reality shift in real time, in ways I hadn't expected and couldn't quite name. I woke up asking serious questions. And honestly? I'm still not sure who to believe. So I follow world news, UFO disclosure content, and anything touching on truth and technology — and I keep watching.
Consider the position of the ordinary person navigating all of this. Let's call her Jane.
Jane works hard. She always has. But the grounding of her reality has shifted, because as of June 2026, it is no longer speculation that alien species — or Ultraterrestrials — are known to exist and to share this Earth with humanity. Jane didn't know this before. Between her family responsibilities and her workload, it wasn't until the public release of declassified video and documents that she was personally rocked. President Trump is keeping his word on disclosure, and Jane — like many of us — had always quietly wondered whether we were truly alone here. The confirmation was a shock. But she feels, on balance, that the U.S. government is handling it as well as could be expected. Jane understands there are a lot of moving variables and people are watching all of them.
What grounds Jane, even now, is gratitude. She is deeply thankful for the peace maintained by the presence of the United States military. She understands, especially in comparison to the strife visible in other parts of the world, that she has lived and grown as a natural-born American citizen without tyranny. That foundation matters to her.
But she does have questions. If other species are living among us — blending in, even reproducing within our borders — without transparency about their origins - that feels like something worth investigating? We are in “Men In Black” territory. I wonder, is there already a framework for this somewhere? A hub, a protocol, a channel for what you might call migrant extra- or ultraterrestrials? The questions feel almost too strange to ask out loud. And yet here we are.
For me, personally, it's the Universal Gap between the cover story and the real story — and everything in the spaces between — that holds my attention - The Presence of God - That Gap is also where my science fiction lives - stories that are only a hairsbreadth from our shared reality.
The United States is a genuinely blessed country. Thank God for her empowering military, and for the freedom to ask these questions out loud.
